Licences

Under the Copyrights, Designs and Patents Act 1988 to publicly perform the drama and/or narrative from any part of any of our productions, or to photocopy any pages from the scripts or lyric sheets, you will require a performance licence from Edgy Productions Ltd. Scroll down to complete your Performance Licence application form. Note - licences issued by local authorities, the PRS or similar organisations DO NOT allow you to perform our productions in public.

To be fully covered if copying and performing any part of a production, you will need one of the following licences from us:

Licence 1: Private Performance Licence

Performance of songs only within school to children and staff (not parents & guests) without photocopying the lyrics. NO FEE.

No admission charge made. £26.50 (inc VAT)

Admission charge made. £26.50 (inc VAT) + 10% of takings

If you order your performance licence 2 or 3 within 14 days of ordering the production, you will receive a 20% discount on the price -  £21.20 (inc VAT).

Recording and duplication

To record and/or duplicate any of our productions you will require a separate licence. Find out more about recording and duplication licences.

Select one of the following three licences. A copy of the licence will be posted or emailed to you once your invoice is paid (if applicable). Cost of licence includes VAT.

Licence 1: Private performance(s) within school - staff and pupils only.

Now submit the form and we'll be in touch soon. A copy of your licence agreement will be prepared to include the details you have submitted above. Submitting this form will result in your school being invoiced for £26.50 (or £21.20 if you are entitled to a discount).
